Here are specific requirements for the project. You will be considered if you have experience in the technologies below and state this clearly. Start date can be very soon and the project can take a couple of weeks and potential to be extended. The expectation is to have someone to contribute from the start. Full support on business aspects is given.
We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to help optimize a web app for recruitment. The app is written in PHP with Laravel and React. At this stage the front end is rendered with Laravel which will be changed but not as part of this project optimisation phase.
This work includes tiny improvements / additions for current modules and will require working as part of a team. In some cases there will be new additions.
You will:
- Design client-side and server-side architecture as well as front end applications
- Develop and manage cloud based databases
- Write, test, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Integrate third party APIs
About you
- You take ownership over the work you do and are confident in leading product work and mentor junior developers
- You are familiar with Agile methodologies, have an analytical mind and are confident in planning and executing git based releases
- Good written and spoken English communication and good teamwork skills.
Specific requirements
- 5 years of full stack experience, with deep knowledge of Laravel and React. Confident in using HTTP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap
- Good working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and Firebase.
- You are confident in packing and serving the application in Docker containers. Bonus points for experience in CI/CD.
- Confident in integrating third party APIs: email, text/sms, calendar, maps, payments etc.
- Good knowledge of unit and integration tests
- You ace through git, tags and releases by applying best practice
- Working knowledge of cloud environments such as GCP is desirable.
- Bonus points for direct experience with Stripe payments, Applicant Tracking System, SendGrid, Twilio, Google Cloud and prior SaaS experience
